Advocacy is one of DEEEP's main activity. The advocacy officer supports and co-operates with the Development Education Forum, in lobbying the European Institutions (European Parliament and Commission) for the promotion and political recognition of development education.
The European Multi-stakeholder Process on Development Education
"The Consensus on Development: the contribution of Development Education and Awareness Raising" is the main outcome of the European Multi-stakeholder group on Development Education. Such document was unveiled in Lisbon in November 2007, during the European Development Days.
The Multi stakeholder Group is now facing new challenges.
